
Background
Although Achtis is a small business based in Grimsby they have a multi-national market and we’re excited to be working with them. The company manufactures and supplies a wide range of unique flooring systems for many purposes and are one of the market leaders.
Brief
Each flooring system is comprised of multiple components and depending on the requirements of the floor, the system can quickly become complicated. As the floors are ‘mixed to measure’ and are poured rather than laid, in order to calculate a quote Achtis must know the exact measurements of the room. This, combined with the less-than-straightforward pricing for each component, meant manually generating prices took a lot of time. There was no system in place at all either, other than a simple Word document and some notes, preventing the task of sending quotations from being delegated.
How we helped
We systemised Achtis’s approach to calculating and creating quotes, giving them more time to focus on delivering great flooring products and innovating. By creating a cloud-based system we not only gave anyone the ability to produce quotes but also made it easier to produce them on the go. The system has more than halved the amount of time staff have to spend quoting and made it much easier to find previous quotes. Quotes created by the system can be saved as a PDF so they can easily be shared to clients on any platform.
It’s important to note how scalable the solution we built is… The system allows for products to be added/removed/changed as needed at any time and for prices to easily be updated with multiple pricing structures/methods available. This means as Achtis continue to innovate, their system will grow with them and staff will not require any additional training.
